As the Digital Media Director at Baker Street Digital I have tools that I use ever day to help me do my job better. Here is a list of 10 of my favorite tools:
Buffer is a website and mobile app that helps me schedule posts on my social media accounts. You can connect your Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google Plus, Pinterest, and Instagram. Buffer is free if you are scheduling 10 posts or less. It is $10 per month to add up to 10 social media profiles and 100 scheduled posts at a time. https://buffer.com/
Followerwonk by Moz.com is a website that helps me find certain people and companies on twitter by searching for a keyword that the twitter user would have written in their bio. So to find us you would type in “Digital Media Alabama”. Followerwonk is a free tool that has paid options if you need to add more functionality to your search. https://moz.com/followerwonk/
Quuu.co is a website that shows user-created content post suggestions for social media based on your selected interests. Branding, Social Media, Entrepreneurship, Startups, and SEO are my selected categories right now. There are hundreds of categories to pick from. Just pick a few categories and link the social media account that you want the content to post on and you’re done. Sit back and watch your feed. The free version of Quuu.co allows up to 2 posts per day and you can set up to 5 interest categories. The paid version is $10 per month up to 10 posts per day and unlimited interest categories. http://quuu.co/
Pablo is a tool I use to create great looking images for social media posts and schedule them to post. Pablo is a product of Buffer so anything you create with Pablo can be shared via Buffer. Pablo is free. https://pablo.buffer.com/
IF This Then That (IFTTT) is a tool that allows you to set up things that happen if a certain event is triggered. Like I write this blog post and I want to share it across all my social media channels. But I don’t want to physically go in and share the blog post to each social media platform individually, IFTTT can do that for me. All you have to do is set up what IFTTT calls recipes to get the job done. IFTTT is free. https://ifttt.com

It is a freemium website and app. Freemium is a pricing strategy by which a product or service is provided free of charge, but money (premium) is charged for proprietary features, functionality, or virtual goods. Crowdfire plans start out at $9.99/month https://web.crowdfireapp.com

Cyfe is a freemium tool with limited use of dashboards and widgets on the free version and unlimited dashboards and widgets on the paid version. The paid version is $19 per month or $168 per year if paid annually. http://cyfe.com/
